Philip Grey
Phil has worked as a photographer for over forty years, specialising in performance, still life and portraits. He has also lectured at London Guildhall; London Metropolitan and Regent’s University, London. Exhibits have included: National Portrait Gallery; Royal Society, Bath; OnoArte Contemporanea, Bologna. He has published in the New Musical Express; The Face; The Guardian; Time Out.
Verdi yahooda
Verdi is an artist and photographer. Her area of expertise lies with analogue photography and darkroom processes. She has exhibited at The Photographers Gallery, London; John Hansard Gallery, Southampton; Ffotogallery, Cardiff; The Ein Harod Museum, Israel; Yale Center for British Art, USA. She has taught and delivered workshops in Jerusalem, Istanbul and Malaysia. She has produced five artists’ books and been published in journals including Creative Camera, Source magazine, European Photography, Aperture.
Dennis Yandoli
Dennis is a founding member of the darkroom. and a keen amateur photographer. He has a passion for pinhole photography and loves promoting our social activities.
Lattina Da’Costa
Lattina is a photographer and darkroom practitioner specialising in analogue processes, materiality, forensic methodologies and autoethnographic narratives that explore missingness. Her work has been exhibited by Missing People, Exist Loudly CIC, London College of Communications and they have undertaken Arts Council grant-funded mentorship with Helen Cammock called Uprooting Hate.
milena michalski
Milena is a visual artist and Visiting Senior Research Fellow at King’s College London. Her practice combines experimental analogue photographic techniques with academic research. She has received awards from the British Academy, AHRC, the Arts Council and The Coward Foundation. Milena holds a PhD from University College London. She has presented her photographic work at international conferences and been widely published, including recently in Black + White Photography and Printmaking Today.
Elisabeth scheder-bieschen
Elisabeth was born in Hamburg, Germany, where she studied Visual Communication at the University of Fine Arts. Following a career in commercial photography and editorial assignments for many European publications, she completed an MA in the History of Photography at Birkbeck College, London. Elisabeth runs our workshops in various analog techniques - such as Lumen, Phytography and Chemigram. She has exhibited at Paul Smith Galleries around the world. Her work has also been included in exhibitions at London’s National Portrait Gallery and Royal Academy of Arts.
