Having made her name in the 60s with The Velvet Underground, Nico was in London as a solo performer in 1978. This image was taken while she was rehearsing in a flat near Darkroom and accompanied a Sounds interview in April 1978. We Did It!

Our crowdfunding campaign has now closed and we are very pleased to announce that thanks to 157 wonderful supporters we exceeded our target and successfully raised £7915.
Now we've ticked that off the list, the next job is transforming this into Darkroom.
